Over recent weeks there has been an increase in anti social behaviour within the village. This includes
– Graffiti sprayed on residents’ cars (at least 2, possibly 3) in the vicinity of the Recreation Ground, but parked on residents’ own property
– Graffiti sprayed on a resident’s tree in the vicinity of the Rec
– Graffiti on the play equipment (skateboard park), the dog bins and the noticeboard in the Rec
– Cat doused with shampoo / shower gel
– White paint sprayed on road signs
It is apparent that most of these incidents have not been reported to the police.
The Parish Council would like to advise all residents that all incidents of this nature should be reported to the police by dialling 101.
Unless we do this, such incidents will never be recorded and we as a Parish Council will have less justification in requesting the police to prioritise such crimes.
