GARDEN THEFTS AND SUSPICIOUS VAN

PLANT AND GARDEN FURNITURE THEFTS.

Over the last couple of weeks, police have been advised of a number of plant thefts from front gardens within the village and also, from under the front window of a house in Birchwood Rd, a very heavy marble bird bath was stolen (white marble effect with black/grey vein and stand). The police have been informed, but if you hear of anyone offering any of these items, please call 101.

SUSPICIOUS VAN

We have been advised of a dark transit van dropping youngsters off in the village with bikes. We don’t know what they’re up to, but they could be spotters for the thieves that are currently plaguing the area. If anyone sees anything similar, please try and get  as much descriptive detail as possible, particularly the vehicle reg and dial 101
